Effective Communication Relationship with Patient Satisfaction in Outpatient Installation at UPTD Puskesmas Pandaan

Abstract

Effective communication has an important role in improving patient safety both in hospitals and health centers. Effective communication between other health workers can result in the best care for patients. In addition, effective communication greatly affects patient satisfaction. The better the effective communication, the more patient satisfaction will increase.This study aims to determine the relationship between effective communication and patient satisfaction in outpatient installations at UPTD Puskesmas Pandaan. This research was conducted on 94 respondents who were taken using accidental sampling. Data were taken using interviews and questionnaires, then analyzed using Chi-Square analysis with the help of the SPSS application. The results showed that there was a relationship between effective communication and patient satisfaction in outpatient installations at UPTD Puskesmas Pandaan with pValue = 0.00. Then H_0 is rejected (p<0.05) and H_a is accepted. So it can be concluded that there is a relationship between effective communication variables and patient satisfaction in outpatient installations at UPTD Puskesmas Pandaan.
